Well, we couldn't resist heading over to Disney Vacation Club's newest resort today and boy, oh boy is it a winner!

It's rare that Brian and I are out in the purple van together but when it's a chance to meet with Deb Wills AND see Bay Lake Tower, well, we'll just put those phones on forward!

Every Tuesday evening around 7:00 I (along with more than 100,000 other folks) receive Deb Wills' AllEars Weekly Newsletter.  Last night was no exception but this one happened to be issue number 500...which is by my count a whole lotta weeks. 

At Owner's Locker, we'd just like to pause, pass on our congratulations and say thanks to Deb for having such a fantastic site and, well, for just being Deb.  I don't know who first said "content is king" but nobody does it better than Deb.  Her site consistently provides, extensive, unbiased information about everything anyone would want to know about Walt Disney World.  Deb and the AllEars team have the place covered in a spectacular fashion. Unbiased data organized in a very useful way. Not only is it useful, it sets the standard for everyone else.

We consider ourselves extremly lucky to be an advertiser on AllEars.  In an earlier post, I described some of the hoops Deb puts potential advertisers through.  It just goes to show you the imennse pride and passion Deb has for her site. And I briefly described in this post what a fantastic person Deb is to work with  She is the best of the best and is an example for us all.

Many of you know who Deb Wills is.  She runs a great site called AllEars and she’s been a fantastic friend of Owner’s Locker.  She has been extremely helpful to me and Brian and we thoroughly enjoy working with her AND we feel like we have a true partnership between Owner’s Locker and AllEars.  Our presence on her Rate and Review page was Deb’s idea and let’s just say we think it’s fantastic.

But you may not know that Deb is a breast cancer survivor.  In fact, next month, it will be 22 years since she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and was given a 50/50 chance of surviving 5 years! 

Raising funds for breast cancer research is extremely important to Deb and us as well.  So Owner’s Locker wants to challenge you to contribute and we will match our Members’ contributions 50 cents on the dollar up to a maximum Owner’s Locker contribution of $250.  So if one of our Members donates $50, we will throw in $25 making the total donation $75. Or if you contribute $25, we'll add $12.50.  Together we can contribute $750 to Deb’s goal of raising $35,000!

Deb supports the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and this years’ walk is May 3 and 4.  Please join us in supporting Deb and this worthy cause.
