Possible Locker option?
John, this is mostly directed to you, but would love to hear what others think. Have you ever considered offering a smaller version of the lockers? I would love to have a smaller one to load up and take along on cruises. I don't need to take my jumbo sized shampoo and other toiletries when we cruise, so I end up with two sets of everything in my lockers. Then I have to sort through it all and throw it in a suitcase to take along on the ship. A smaller locker that I could dedicate to cruise stuff (and would hopefully be easier and lighter to take along on board) would be wonderful for me. Would gladly pay another fee for the convenience of having a more compact option.

Hi Mindy! The idea of a smaller Locker has come a number of times and then seems to go away. I usually hear about it when one Locker isn't enough but Members think having 2 Lockers would be too much. But then the second Locker fills up quickly and I get a note thanking me for not having a smaller one!

Why don't you just take your existing Locker on the cruise with you? That would certainly eliminate the need to duplicate things. Lots of OL Members take their Locker with them. Apparently, they fit neatly in the closet or under the desk.

I do have plans to try to work more closely with DCL as we are doing a lot of cruise business...and who knows what might come out of that...

Well, we already have two of the current lockers. They both are stuffed to the gills and weigh a ton, which is why I don't want to take them along on the cruise. There is a lot in them that I don't really need on a cruise, hence my longing for a smaller (and hopefully lighter) one. The idea of a smaller one also appeals, given the lack of real storage space onboard. Most of the space that exists is taken up by our luggage. This family of three adults just doesn't get the concept of traveling light, lol! If I add the current sized locker to the mix, we won't be able to move! Anyway, I'll keep my fingers crossed for a smaller version becoming available in the future. Thanks for getting back to me!

Mindy

We actually saw the purple van twice on our last trip down (just got back home last night, boo hoo). We were so excited to actually see it!

I wonder what the interest level would be in a smaller locker option you could "borrow" or "rent" that you could put some of the essentials (bathroom stuff) in that would be easier to cruise with?
