Second Locker
Newbies here. Just returned from our first visit with our Locker. We love it ! Have it pretty full. So my question is how much does it cost to add a second locker? Looked on the site but I'm not quite sure what the exact cost is... any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there...and welcome aboard...

...about 20% of our Members have more than one Locker...the record is 10, by the way...

The Membership Fee on an additional Locker is $65 and that is charged 30 days before you arrive (or as soon as you order it if you need it in less than 30 days). Believe it or not, we get what I call a parking lot call about once a week where a Member realizes they need a second Locker in the Parking lot after they've checked out....

All Lockers have a $99 annual fee (they all take up the same amount of space in the warehouse) and our system will pro-rate the annual fee when an additional Locker comes into our warehouse so its Anniversary Date will match that of your first Locker.

Hope I've answered your questions.

Thanks for the info John... The site is actually very good at describing the fees... I just wanted to make sure... Glad to be a part of the Owners Locker Family. It has actually become part of our trip planning.

Had it with the airlines - It's a second locker for us!
Hi all:

Just got back from another WDW trip with our lovely OL (or, as we call it, the "Escape Kit").

We're really good at packing light and staying within carry on size limits, because we hate having to wait at the baggage carousel when we get to where we're going. We're also completely fed up with giving the airlines perfectly good bags, only to find zippers broken, front pouches ripped off, and roller handles crushed to the point that they won't pull out. We won't even go into the black hole that is Chicago O'Hare, where we've had baggage go missing fully half the times we've checked luggage through there.

So, you can imagine our frustration when the airline forced us to check our carry on bags through two flights to our final destination last night. Either the airplane was not built to accomodate storing a carry on bag for each person and/or the people who got on ahead of us were carrying...let's see...full-sized suitcases...more than three bags for one person...shall I go on? Since we were in the dreaded Zone 3, the storage bins were completely full by the time we got on the plane. Along with the other two clothes bags, off to the baggage handling gorillas went the bag carrying our autographed commemorative plates from the Dining with an Imagineer experience we've been trying to book for the past couple of years.

The good news is that the bags came through in one piece and the plates survived, but I was a wreck for those two flights wondering what was going to happen with those plates.

Long story short (or, maybe not too short), we ordered a second locker this morning. On our next trip, we're going to pack five changes of clothes and spare shoes for everyone and leave them with John and his wonderful crew. After that, we'll carry a light backpack each for travel docs, electronics, and any souvenirs we might bring back home, and THAT'S IT! No more carousels, no more gorillas, no more lugging even small carry ons up stairs, one less bag each to worry about through airport security...bottom line, no more stress.

Thank you, John! I can't wait to start travelling like I just lived there!
