How many locks would we need?
I want to get lock(s) for our locker (1st trip). How many places are there to put a lock on? I'm picturing one on each end. ??

I read the other thread about types of locks to consider.

TIA

You could put two locks on it but if you use the cable type lock you could put it in both holes. The other end has a "hinge" or more like a cam with a lip on the lid that prevents it from opening. I don't remember if hinge end has holes in it that a lock could be put in, I don't think so.

Thanks Paul. I saw a video on youtube last night that showed how the lid goes on and comes off...much better perspective now.

I'm not concerned about theft prevention...just about using those "thingies" and needing to take them off more than once after I *think* it's all packed, since A) I can't leave my house without returning to get cell phone, library books, etc, and B) we once had to buy two pairs of scissors on the same day when we were leaving to come home from WDW because we had zip-stripped the suitcases closed and needed to put more in. Better to have something we can put on/take off...repeatedly.

We lock the laptop and my Amazon Kindle in when we leave the room. So we do tend to use the lock for theft prevention.

One nice thing is that John always sends along extra zip ties.
On one of our trips, we were moving resorts like 3 times, so I just asked for a couple of extras. We really haven't had to use any to re-open the box yet, so I keep the extras in the box- just in case I need them next time.

But he always puts in a couple more than you might need- "just in case."
