World Premier Food Court At Disney's All-Star Movies Resort the Everyday Adventures Of the Purple Van January 29, 2010
Remember the days when movie theaters weren't inside malls? They used to feature these great marquees that listed the movies that were showing...and there were lights...lots of lights.
Lights all over the sign and underneath the marquee. It made going into a movie theater exciting.
Well that's the look imagineers were going for at the World Premier food court at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
Each of the food stations has a name you used to see on movie theaters...the Grand, the Roxy, The Rialto, etc. One of the signs even has the movable letters.
And, the ceiling is full of lights just like an entrance to a movie theater in the good old days. The only thing missing is the searchlights...
