The Carousel At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa: The Everyday Adventures Of The Purple Van September 4, 2009
Saratoga Springs is the largest of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts and it is located across from Downtown Disney on Lake Buena Vista. Saratoga Springs is named after the horse racing center of the same name in upstate New York. And you'll see horse references through the resort.
The resort consists of 18 four story buildings and is divided into several areas and one of them is called The Carousel.
So it makes sense that the barbecue and picnic area would look like a carousel complete with--you guessed it--horses.
Now that's some picnic shelter!
The Carousel section of the resort is just to the left as you enter Saratoga Springs.

Wow, Mark...thanks so much for sharing that article. You amaze me with how much you know about Walt Disney World.
You really can see how hard Disney worked to duplicate the essence of the real Saratoga Springs!
