The Best Stop Light View In Disney World: The Everyday Adventures Of The Purple Van July 25, 2009
You won't be surprised to learn that if you spend a good part of the day driving around Walt Disney World in a purple van, you inevitably get caught at a few traffic lights. And if you do it as much as we do, you come to appreciate that the view at some stop lights is better than others.
This one is on Epcot Resorts Boulevard where it intersects with Buena Vista Drive and it gets my vote for the best.
Epcot Resorts Boulevard is the loop that runs from Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas, under the water bridge by EPCOT, past Disney's Beach Club Resort and Villas, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, The Walt Disney World Dolphin, The Walt Disney World Swan and Fantastia Gardens. Buena Vista Drive is the main road that the entrance Disney's Hollywood Studios is located on.
I won't go as far as to say that I like having to stop at this light...but if it does turn red, I at least get to appreciate the amazing detail on the Hollywood Tower Hotel! And at night, I can roll down the window and listen to Fantasmic while waiting for the light to turn green.
